An Exit Specialist is a former who is highly skilled, trained in motivational interviewing, suicide and violence risk assessments, and has additional training in hate-fueled ideology. They are a credible messengers who are valuable members of the multidisciplinary team. They have done the work and now choose to help others by giving hope.
