Dear Friend,

Life After Hate is the only organization offering long-term case management, group meetings, educational resources, and professional referrals for individuals and families dealing with hateful ideology and planned harm. We serve people in the justice system and those rebuilding their lives after release—all free of charge because we refuse to create barriers between people and help.

Our work is guided by Exit Specialists—formers with the skills, training, and lived experience to serve as credible messengers for others still trapped in hate. Exit Specialists are trained in motivational interviewing, risk assessments, and the specific dynamics of hateful ideology. They’ve done the work themselves, and now they help others by giving hope.

Our ExitUSA™ programming draws on fifteen years of fieldwork and co-researched best practices. It works:

  • A teen writing a manifesto glorifying harm was referred to our program and is reducing harmful thoughts.
  • Someone worried about their partner joined our family and friends group and no longer feels alone.
  • We connect minors and families to mental health professionals who understand the specific risks our participants face.

This is why your support matters now more than ever.

We need to expand our capacity to serve court-mandated and juvenile participants who often require additional time and resources. Your support delivers best-in-class care and helps build safer communities for everyone.

The cost of this programming may seem high, but the cost of inaction—of allowing ideologically driven hatred to grow unchecked—is far higher. This work is an investment in safer families and communities.

There is Life After Hate. Nobody should be judged by their worst actions.

With your help, we can continue offering hope and real pathways out of hate.
