Dear Friend,

Erasing hate doesn’t come with a receipt.

We can’t hand you a before-and-after photo. We can’t show you the attack that didn’t happen, the family that stayed whole, the community that remained safe because someone found a way out before causing harm.

But the absence of tragedy? That’s the work. And it matters.

Every dollar you give saves lives—even if you never see the crisis that was averted. When we fail to address hate, we all suffer the consequences: communities torn apart, families destroyed, cycles of harm that span generations.

Right now, we’re facing a critical gap.

Federal funding cuts mean we’re at risk of turning people away at the exact moment they’re ready to leave hate behind. We can’t let that happen.

Here’s how you can help close that gap:
If everyone who sees this message shares it with just one friend who gives $10 or more, Life After Hate would recoup all the funding lost from federal cuts.

That’s it. One friend. Ten dollars. The difference between scaling back our work and reaching every person who needs us.

Will you be part of the solution?

Help us reach people ready to leave hate behind

Your donation funds the Exit Specialists and case managers who intervene before harm occurs. It keeps our programming free and accessible to everyone who needs help.

Every share multiplies hope. Every donation funds transformation.

The work of preventing harm is invisible—until it’s not. Don’t wait for the next tragedy to act.

Angry Hour: New Orleans

Bayou Beer Garden hosted the first-ever Angry Hour in New Orleans this month, with Life After Hate as the recipient organization. In collaboration with Greater Good Studio, we created a space for people to vent, build connections, and find mutual support during these chaotic times. We met fascinating people doing good work in The Big Easy and beyond. Thank you to everyone who donated or sponsored—we’re grateful for your commitment to this work.
